Day trip to the most scenic sites of the Sacred Valley in the company of one of our expert guides
We pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 8.00 am and drive through the highlands of Anta to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will have a couple of stops on the way to enjoy splendid views over the Cordillera Urubamba and the valley. First, we will visit the impressive ceremonial complex of Ollantaytambo. Later we will also roam the narrow streets of the former Inca residences that were built for the elite and have the opportunity to enter one of the original buildings. We will enjoy a generous Andean buffet lunch before visiting the ceramic workshop of Pablo Seminario, one of the most successful modern artists in Peru. We drive on to the Southern end of the valley and visit the Inca city of Pisac, dramatically perched on top of a mountain and surrounded by some of the most magnificent terracings the Incas have ever produced. We end our tour with a brief visit to the colorful Indian market in colonial Pisac, where you may find crafts from all over Peru.
